Nights Bangkok

Day 1:
Flights from Europe arrive in Bangkok in the morning. Guests are
greeted by flower garland before boarding air-conditioned coach
to the hotel. Pre-registration expedites check-in procedure.
Boat transfer is suggested for a riverside property. Group
luncheon is arranged prior to an orientation tour of the city,
leading to the Grand Palace.

Admire the majestic buildings which were lived by the former
monarchs of the present dynasty. Also see the sacred Emerald
Buddha in the ornate Wat Phra Kaeo royal temple. Welcome dinner
is a typical Thai meal accompanied by Thai classical music and
dance performance or a western dinner with performances of
dances from the four regions of Thailand.

Day 2:
After breakfast or orientation brunch, embark on a boat trip
through the canals which once gave Bangkok the name Venice of
the East.

| See how the locals live along the waterways. Visit
Wat Arun or the Temple of Dawn - one of the most photographed
landmarks of Bangkok. |

Continue to a local restaurant for buffet lunch, or change onto
a converted original rice barge for lunch on board with Thai
string music. Afternoon at leisure of visit the Ancient City in
Bangkok suburbs.
The Ancient City is the worlds largest outdoor museum in the
shape of Thailand, with buildings and structures of cultural,
historical and religious significance reproduced in varying
scales, situated at the exact spots where the originals stand.
Evening activity can be a Dine-Around Programme featuring

Day 3: Choices of full day excursions out of Bangkok can be
made today.
Ayutthaya, Thailands former capital, offers interesting
sightseeings with a leisurely boat cruise back in the afternoon.
The Rural Floating Market trip can be combined with a visit to
the famous Bridge over the River Kwai.

The evening can be free for individuals to explore the City of
Angels on their own. Dinner at a private museum can be arranged
for a group especially interested in culture. Alternatively, a
group function can be arranged with a theme at the hotel.

Day 4: The day is at leisure for the full day tours, shopping
or sports activities.
Golf can be enjoyed at many world class courses. Smaller groups
can participate in a rally or photographic scavenger hunt by Tuk
Tuks (the 3-wheel taxis indigenous only to Bangkok).

Theme party at the hotel with full entertainment or dinner on
the rice barge or a luxurious river cruiser.

Day 5: Day at leisure for individual activities such as
private car at disposal for shopping, explorations of the less
visited parts of the city or visit some of the private museums.
In the late afternoon, participate in the unforgettable Thai
Cultural Theme Evening at the Rose Garden. |

Cocktails in the beautiful garden amidst handicraft
demonstrations followed by a sumptuous buffet of BBQ meats,
seafood and other Thai favourites. The enjoy a spectacular
performance of folk dances and martial arts, before taking part
in the Floating Festival of Lights at the river nearby of
Songkran Thai New Year reenactment. The evening is highlighted
by a firework display.
Day 6: At leisure
until departure for transfer to the airport.
